What does eatingseasonally mean?

It means you buy foods that are being grown and harvested locally, right now.

It does not mean buying “fresh” green beans in January or strawberries in August.

By buying seasonally, you guarantee that the food is local. You’re not harming the environment by shipping the food thousands of miles. You are also guaranteeing that you get the freshest, most nutritious and tastiest food available.

What’s in the box?

When you purchase a Fresh Harvest Box, you will be receiving approximately 22-25 pounds of seasonal, handpicked fruits and veggies with farm fresh flavor in every bite.

Each week, we will hand select what items will go into that week’s box based on what is being harvested on our farm the day of the delivery. Unfortunately, special requests cannot be accommodated.

Due to Mother Nature and the unpredictability of farming, your box may or may not include all the items listed for each week.

FAQs

What are Fresh Harvest Boxes?

We plant a diversity of crops in order to provide a wide variety of vegetables and herbs to our members. Boxes contain 3 to 4 different varieties each week, depending on what is ready for harvest.

Can I split a box?

Sharing a box among two households is okay with us, BUT we ask that subscription holders take the entire Fresh Harvest Box in one visit. Splitting of boxes will be done by the subscription holders as we do not sell half boxes.

What happens if I forget to pick up my Fresh Harvest Box?

With all that’s happening on the farm, we are not able to keep track of forgotten boxes. Unclaimed Fresh Harvest Boxes will be forfeited.
